How the Verification System Works
The BVS is a technological marvel that connects remote franchise endpoints directly to the central NADRA database in real-time. When a citizen places their thumb on a BVS scanner, the scanner converts the fingerprint into an encrypted template. This template is sent to NADRA over a secure network. NADRA compares this template against the one stored against the provided CNIC number. If it is a match, NADRA sends a 'Verified' signal back to the operator, allowing the SIM to be activated.
